Hello and welcome to my little BOINC Stats Counter site hosted by Vidahost.com

I created this site for the many thousands of BOINC crunchers around the world. This site is the portal for stats graphic counters for BOINC projects. The site basically retrieves your stats from the project's servers to create graphics similar to the ones below:

My service caches your results so that you never see anything like "unable to connect to server" or "server error". All of the public BOINC projects are supported (see below for further details).

The site also allows you to:

  • Administer ALL of your BOINC stats graphics from one site - you no longer need accounts at each mini-site,

  • Provides a user graphic to display statistics of ALL your BOINC projects,

  • Provides a team graphic to display statistics of ALL your BOINC projects,

  • Provides a user graphic for each of your BOINC projects,

  • Provides a team graphic for each of your BOINC projects,

  • Choose the background colour,

  • Choose the border colour,

  • Choose text colour,

  • Choose a background image (optional),

  • Choose to only show projects with RAC greater than zero,

  • Choose to only show your top N projects,

  • Choose to have a wide or standard image, depending on the number of projects you have,

  • Add your stats graphic to your Facebook profile at BOINC Facebook,

  • Get your BOINC stats on your Windows, MAC OS or KDE desktop via BOINC Desktop, and

  • Decide whether the background is transparent or not. As the latter is decided by an option in your URL, you can have transparency on for one site and off for others. It's up to you!

BOINC Stats for your Desktop

Desktop widgets that show your BOINC stats are available for Windows/MAC OS users thanks to Yahoo! Widgets and SuperKaramba for and Linux/Unix KDE users.

This allows you to have your BOINC stats from boinc.mundayweb.com on your desktop!

BOINC Stats

As of January 2005, you can access the stats collected by my site at http://boinc.mundayweb.com/stats. This mini-site allows you to view and search the top teams and users of the BOINC projects supported by the site, as well as stats about individual users and teams.

As of February 2006, you can now download XML versions of the team stats and project overview pages.

For your All-In-One graphics you can now choose which of your graphics uses the wide format and you can now choose whether inactive/closed projects are shown or not. If you choose not show inactive/closed projects, they will be shown under the "Others" entry instead. Login and go to "Your Graphics" to find the new settings.

Thanks to Bok from stats.free-dc.org, the speed of my stats update script has been massively improved following his advice on MySQL ranking queries. This means that up to date stats can now be provided much quicker.

A server configuration error (which was my fault) has meant that people have not been able to sign-up for BOINC Stats since the 22nd September. All should be working now for users wishing to add BOINC Stats to their Facebook profile. Apologies for any inconvenience - Neil.

BOINC Stats should now work with the new Facebook. If you can't see your BOINC Stats box on your new profile, go to BOINC Stats and click the "Add to profile" button.

Server outage - Thu, 11 Sep 2008 17:18:42 BST
MundayWeb.com was offline for around an hour last night from 23:00 BST whilst maintenance was carried out on the web server by my web host. All services are now back to normal. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the outage.

The Genetic Life stats were corrupted prior to yesterday due to a dodgy team XML file. This has since been fixed and the team stats are now correct. Thanks to dainenyu for highlighting the problem.

BOINC Facebook Update - Mon, 08 Sep 2008 23:15:47 BST
For BOINC Facebook users, all is working again (and with the new layout). If it's not on your boxes page, go to your applications and then click "Edit". Now go to the "Profile" tab and choose "Add to profile".

Since the deployment of Facebook's new layout and a big API change, the BOINC Facebook application has experienced some problems. Due to work load etc. I haven't had time recently to re-code the application. Support for the application may be dropped if I cannot find time to fix the application and due to the continuing API changes at Facebook.

The Enigma@Home project now has a new home and has new work units to download. As a result of the move I have modified the stats update script to use the new location and the new stats are now being updated daily as a result.

Could you provide a mirror?

This site would not be able to operate and support the large number of users without the help of the people below. If you would like to provide a mirror you will need the following:

  • PHP 4.0 (at least)
  • GD library 2.0 (at least)
  • FTP access to allow me to upload the mirror scripts
  • Un-metered or large amount of bandwidth
