Via this page we can add what there is still to do to get this Wiki the way we want it to. You can add to it, you can sign up to what you want. I propose we add a list of things here, and the person who wants to work on something, adds his name at the end of it. All right?

@all - I've gone through and:

* the links have been rebuilt and tested,
* the images are all imported and roughed into the page,
* add bolds and breaks to make it presentable

There's a list below of a few 404s, and I skipped the changelogs and reject-candidate areas. It went very quickly and was very informative, too.. thanks! @all,
I'm looking into using one or more different fonts, but need some input on that. What do you think is a good font, and font size?
We have to keep in mind that it needs to look good on all platforms, be it PC, Mac, tablet, phone.

I noodled with it a bit.. I upped the font-size in .mw-body-content to 1.0em and it looks alot better. The default's sans-serif, which is nice and agnostic, and it looks pretty good, too. Verdana's a bit too goofy for my taste, trebuchet and tahoma are kerned a bit tight, we can save courier for any seti@home entries =]. I think all we do with Seti@Home entries is write them in wingdings. ;-) You're right on the sans-serif being default. You're right, it looks like the stroke width is different across browsers but (luckily) the character shapes stay the same. Strange. I think it's best if we keep the common.css as it is for now, I can always ask Neil to edit it. But I don't necessarily need to change all text fonts.

FAQ titles start with a capital and end with anything but a full stop '.'

Not all FAQs are questions. I have never seen an error end with a question mark. Does your Blue Screen of Death ask politely that you write down its numbers? I went to the local co-op for a 6-pack of ginger beer.. I'll let you know what I find, but ending each page w/ 4 tildas limits me to only 3-5 pages a night, max. Is there a guide somewhere on how to write entries? I'm completely unfamiliar with wiki.
Being a disorganised person, I intend to start somewhere in the middle, with something I know well enough - which happens to be boinc terminology. Yep I picked the easy one ;) as per above, I'll try to put a note on my profile where I am. And as far as I understood I edit the page and any comments go on the discussion page? What if I need help with a particular item?

I noodled with it a bit.. I upped the font-size in .mw-body-content to 1.0em and it looks alot better. The default's sans-serif, which is nice and agnostic, and it looks pretty good, too. Verdana's a bit too goofy for my taste, trebuchet and tahoma are kerned a bit tight, we can save courier for any seti@home entries =]. Is there a guide somewhere on how to write entries? I'm completely unfamiliar with wiki.
Being a disorganised person, I intend to start somewhere in the middle, with something I know well enough - which happens to be boinc terminology. @all - We've reached the first plateau.. The links have been rebuilt and tested, the images are all imported and roughed into the page. The first round is complete. There's a list below of a few 404s and a couple of big tables of old info that didn't seem worth rebuilding. Being a disorganised person, I intend to start somewhere in the middle, with something I know well enough - which happens to be boinc terminology. I'm looking into using one or more different fonts, but need some input on that. What do you think is a good font, and font size?
We have to keep in mind that it needs to look good on all platforms, be it PC, Mac, tablet, phone.

I noodled with it a bit.. I upped the font-size in .mw-body-content to 1.0em and it looks alot better. The default's sans-serif, which is nice and agnostic, and it looks pretty good, too. Verdana's a bit too goofy for my taste, trebuchet and tahoma are kerned a bit tight, we can save courier for any seti@home entries =]. Not all FAQs are questions. I have never seen an error end with a question mark. Does your Blue Screen of Death ask politely that you write down its numbers? Being a disorganised person, I intend to start somewhere in the middle, with something I know well enough - which happens to be boinc terminology. These notes are written for users of a standard (32-bit) version of Windows XP, running the recommended (5.10.45) version of BOINC
