BOINC support for OpenCL on other hardware than GPUs?

Now that OpenCL is becoming main stream, when will there be support by BOINC for the other pieces of hardware that can use OpenCL, such as CPUs and NICs? David: Already possible, although no projects have OpenCL/CPU apps. What's a NIC?

Rom: Network Interface Controller. As far as I know only the enterprise class NIC's support TCP checksum offloading and encryption off loading, but even then it is only at the kernel level and isn't exposed to user-mode applications.
