Why is my task (WU) time taking unusually long to finish?

This is commonly called a "stuck" workunit or task that, for some reason or another, has run into processing issues and doesn't progress after an undetermined point.

The best course of action at this time is to exit BOINC Manager, or stop the BOINC service if it was installed that way, and then restart BOINC.
