ACTIVE TASK::start(): can't create memory-mapped file: shmget() failed

You will get this error when the Linux permissions on the BOINC data directory is set wrong. Use chown -R boinc:boinc /var/lib/boinc to fix this. Of course when your data directory is in another place, change the path way.
