Difference between revisions of "APP: error reading search parameters file (for read): data file == NULL"

This is a problem with the application version being mismatched against the BOINC version used. For instance when a third party application has been built against BOINC 6, instead of BOINC 7 and is expected to run under BOINC 7 with all BOINC 7 capabilities.

The solution is to rebuild the application against the correct BOINC API.
