BOINC 5.10 and later have a list of projects in the "Attach to wizard" build in in BOINC Manager. When a project changes its URL, the URL in the list is updated automatically by BOINC. It reads the file it is using every 2 weeks from the BOINC servers.
But if you want to fix it immediately, there's a way as well.
- To force an update of this file, exit BOINC first.
- Now navigate to your main BOINC directory and delete the file all_projects_list.xml
- Restart BOINC and start the Attach to wizard and it will download the latest list the server has available.
