This error shows up, when the communications part of BOINC not being able to find the correct URL to the project.
It's usually fixed by detaching from the project and reattaching to it, using the correct URL.
e.g.
Sat Mar 6 10:55:00 2010 World Community Grid Requesting new tasks Sat Mar 6 10:55:01 2010 Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site Sat Mar 6 10:55:02 2010 Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. Sat Mar 6 10:55:05 2010 World Community Grid Scheduler request failed: Couldn't resolve host name
