I'm Ed Moran, 59, retired in Bellingham, WA after 35 years in San Jose. Moved north, returned to WWU to regroove as a tech journalist and, well, now I'm looking for adventure. I'm putting together a beginner's portal/directory site, boinc.info, The project list is live if you'd like to see it.

I'm very grateful to have this role in porting over the FAQs, both for the tremendous education I'm about to recieve (and boy, do I need it!), and a plethora of useful links for the new site. I am a new person here and I'm still sorting out names and roles, so bear with me as learn the ropes. Anyway, "I'm copying over links", meaning:

• create hyperlinks - open the orig boinc and compare the two entries, copy over links
• test them - a few 404s here and there, mostly old info (yahoo widgets, etc) and images. I'm creating a list and I'll get to it later.
• basic formatting - I'm leaving behind the pages in good enough condition to go live, that way we don't have to come back. I assume someone will, but it's good not to have to worry about it.
