Can't link output file

A non-executable program cannot do executable work. This error comes up when BOINC tries to start a non-executable program, such as a text file, or image file, to do executable work. It's also possible that the output file is of a disputable format, one that cannot be written by BOINC.
Report this behaviour at the project the application is from.
